The design of the 162-hectare olive grove plantation at Quinta de São Vicente, in Ferreira do Alentejo, for the company Singaolive, was the responsibility of Olivogestion, which has been providing this service since 2003. An olive grove was installed on the farm with a 4 x 1.30 m compass. «The design of this estate was much simpler, since the soil was more homogeneous and had a smaller relief, explains Bruno Cantinho, executive director of Olivogestion. The installation of the irrigation system was developed by Magos Irrigation Systems and everything went smoothly. «If we guarantee good filtration, enough pressure to water the entire plot, 1 kg of pressure in the most difficult part of the plot and the automation working perfectly, we have succeeded in the irrigation system and that is what happened», he reveals. As for the relationship with Magos Irrigation Systems, it goes from strength to strength: «We only work with the best companies and Magos in the area of irrigation is one of them. We have nothing to point out from installation to technical assistance».
